FROM HOUMA, take Highway 24 South. Stay on HWY 24 by turning left on to the Presquille Isle Bridge and travel 0.2 miles.  Then turn right at the traffic light.  Continue traveling south on Highway 24 for 3.9 miles.  During this time you will travel through Bourg, Louisiana. 

 

Continue on Hwy 24 by turning left at the Bourg Larose Highway traffic light in Klondyke, Louisiana.  Continue straight on Highway 24 for 14.1 miles. 

 

At LA 3235, take a right and travel south toward Port Fourchon. You will pass through Cut Off, Galliano, and Golden Meadow (PLEASE OBSERVE 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT IN GOLDEN MEADOW) until LA 3235 merges with a 2-lane LA 1.

Continue traveling south. You will cross a large bridge in Leeville, pass a Chevron Heliport, and travel south until you reach Port Fourchon (LANDMARKS: Kajun Sportsman gas station and motel; Anthony’s restaurant; lighted Port Fourchon sign). Take a right onto Highway 3090 to Port Fourchon. LA 3090 is the ONLY highway that intersects LA 1 south of Golden Meadow.
