The Nicholls State Student Section of the ASSE-Bayou Chapter was developed to give NSU students the chance to interact and network with the area's leaders in the safety profession. The Safety Technology and Petroleum Services programs at Nicholls is very unique and supplies our local oil and gas industry with young and knowledgeable individuals. To show their support of the programs at Nicholls, the Bayou Chapter offers Student Section members a chance at a $500 scholarship each fall and spring semester.
